BIGLRY & BONE'S "B&B"(TM) performance computer is the fuel injection management system that
allows FULL-TIME tuning for all Honda VTX1800's. The "B&B"
(TM) adapts to after-market upgrades
such as Exhaust or Intake. There is no need for costly DYNO tests and you never have to build or
load a MAP. Installation is simple and in most cases is completed in less than 1.5 hours.

Tested under the most extreme conditions, this device manages fuel delivery as you ride. Nothing
compares to a multiple sensor controlled device working in a closed-loop environment that can
adjust air/fuel ratio as you ride. This results in optimized performance along the entire RPM
range, taking into account many variables.
In order to understand how our "B&B"(TM) works and the difference between re-mapping an
open-loop system and installing our unit which dynamically tunes the bike throughout the RPM
and load range, it is important to understand the differences between the two methods of tuning.
Up to now, fuel management systems modify the voltage signals to the injector pulse, creating a
fixed value at a fixed RPM and throttle position. This method of mapping overrides the normal
operation of the ECU. The "B&B"
(TM) method uses an o2 sensor to monitor the air/fuel ratio in
the exhaust stream along with the throttle position sensor (TPS) and the crank sensor (CS).
These sensors provide the "B&B"
(TM) with data, which in turn allows the bike's ECU to operate
with a broader tuning capability.

We have many reports of increases in fuel economy while cleaning Exhaust and Plugs, all this at
500 times a second.
Just a few years ago there were more new motorcycles purchased with carburetor systems
versus fuel-injection systems. Times have changed and it's now the other way around. The one
thing that has not changed is the personalization owners do to their motorcycle's look, sound
and performance.
The benefits of "B&B"(TM) tuning technology:
Some of the most common changes owners perform are exhaust, air intake and air filter
systems. When any of these type performance upgrades are made to the fuel injected
motorcycle there will be a disturbance to the air/fuel ration calibration, which was engineered
into the factory ECU computer. Making corrections to the factory ECU computer is not as easy as
changing the jets in a carbureted engine.
Here at BIGLRY & BONE'S we have had the opportunity to test all the current fuel management
systems that are available to correct the fuel delivery as an aftermarket fuel controller. If the
air/fuel mixture is not calibrated correctly, the performance part will not perform up to its
potential due to the fact that the fuel mixture could be too rich or too lean.
The "B&B"(TM) performance computer constantly tunes your motorcycle as you ride. Our
computer re-calibrates at 500 times per second to adjust to any load you may frequently put on
your motorcycle such as going up hills, riding two-up, adding a front shield or any additional
weight you may introduce to your motorcycle that would change load conditions to the engine.
The "B&B"(TM) performance computer will automatically compensate when any new component
is added to your motorcycle, i.e. exhaust or air box change. The same goes with changes in
altitude. As the air becomes thinner, less air goes out the exhaust. The "B&B"
(TM) performance
computer recognizes less air and automatically reduces the amount of fuel delivered. There is no
need to punish your bike any longer with long and expensive dyno time. The "B&B"
(TM) will
automatically adjust to any component change, altitude and loads without turning a single
wrench on your motorcycle.
Although the "B&B"(TM) was designed to make tuning easy, and works on the majority of VTXs
on the road, there are a few highly modified bikes that are configured to the point where the
air/fuel ration is critically affected. In these cases we suggest you contact us for advice before
purchasing.
Nobody rides their bike on a dyno. On the road riding and load conditions constantly change.
